The mission of WFEL (pronounced ‘waffle’), a community based not for profit organization, is to promote, enhance, provide and enrich educational, teaching and learning opportunities within the Warwick Valley Central School District. WFEL is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes supplemental to the annual school budget.
WAMBO is a not-for-profit 501c(3) organization. All fundraising proceeds directly benefit the arts and music programs at Warwick Valley schools.

Our beautiful library in Warwick was rated the #1 small library in America! It has an amazing children’s room with extensive programming. It’s a great place for meeting other parents and kids.
Warwick Community Center
The Warwick Valley Community Center is a multi-purpose community center that includes a highly-praised pre-school program, community enrichment classes, after school programs for children and teens, a bi-monthly film series and a venue for concerts and theater. In addition, the center is a popular meeting place for non-profit community groups throughout the region. Other activities and programs include: Jewelry-Making, Cooking, Piano, Arts & Crafts, Music Theory for children, teens and adults. The Center is also home to the Warwick Kennel Club, LaMonteil Dance Studio and the Greenwood Lake Theatre Group. The Center offers movies for all ages. The Doc Fry Music Sessions feature bands and concerts — starting with mid-teens on up. The Community Center is located at 11 Hamilton Avenue, Warwick NY 10990.
Family Central is an all-volunteer, non-profit Parenting Support Network for parents and care-givers of children from birth through adolescence. Our grassroots movement based in Warwick, NY provides parenting information, resources, and workshops that address the developmental needs of children and the many challenges today’s families face.
Community 2000 is a matrix for people and ideas in the Town of Warwick. It is a 501c3 with a kindly Board of Directors who encourage people with interests, passions and ideas to get them going. It offers backroom support, so good new ideas can grow. It make getting involved pretty easy.

Warwick Playground Dreams
Warwick Playground Dreams is a non-profit organization comprised of dedicated parents and community members. Our mission is to work together to realize our dreams, and those of our children, for a new playground(s) in the Town of Warwick.
Warwick Valley Prevention Coalition is a group of concerned citizens working to engage parents, youth and community partners in reducing the use of alcohol, marijuana and other drugs amongst minors in Warwick using evidence-based and promising practices and environmental strategies. They meet the fourth Thursday of the month at 6:30 for about an hour at the WV Community Center or another venue of the Coalition members.
Warwick Community Kitchen Serves monthly dinners to anyone that is in need of food or would just like some fellowship with neighbors!
BackPack Snack Attack is an outreach program of the Warwick Reformed Church that feeds nearly 300 school children in Warwick Township.
Meals on Wheels provides economical, nutritious meals for anyone within the village of Warwick and nearby areas who is temporarily or permanently unable to provide their own meals. The organization operates under the auspices of the Warwick Ecumenical Council. Mount Alverno kitchen provides the freshly prepared meals for daily delivery. Warwick Friendly Visitors Program
By simply driving someone to a doctor’s appointment or by talking with them, you can help a neighbor feel more connected to their community. Volunteers can be any age, so it’s ideal for anyone who desires to help neighbors. For more information relating to volunteering, call the Friendly Visitor Program at 845-986-1124. Launched with the help of Jewish Family Services of OC.
Hudson Valley Hour Exchange: HVHE is a grass-roots, hyper-local system of NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS. HVHE is a community of people who support each other by exchanging services via a web-based system which employs the hour as the unit of exchange.
